Thank you for considering Union Hospital for your postgraduate training. The Union Hospital Family Medicine Residency was created in 1976 and has been accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) since its inception. Our program has a strong tradition of recruiting and training resident physicians in all aspects of family medicine.

During your three year program, you will gain critical on-the-job experience from assisting in surgery and deliveries to diagnosing illnesses and prescribing patient care plans in the family medicine center and rural health clinics.
The Family Medicine Center, where the residency is located, is directly connected to Union Hospital. It is a 24,000 square foot state-of-the-art facility with 28 exam rooms and two procedure rooms.
