Union Hospital's Family Medicine Residency is an innovative, hands-on, comprehensive program. Residency faculty created a program that offers the tools and experiences necessary for success. The curriculum is developed to follow the trends of family medicine. However, the faculty is flexible in allowing the residents to tailor their own training experiences. Enhanced opportunities in a given area may be offered at the request of the resident. At this time consideration is being given to developing a fourth year hospitalist fellowship position and a fourth year chief resident position.
The Residency operates on a monthly rotation schedule, with the first day of the rotation beginning on the first of the month.
