Dr. Manju Thothala, now beginning her third year of residency training at Union Hospital, was honored at the American Geriatrics Society national conference that took place in mid-May in Orlando, Florida. Dr. Thothala submitted an academic poster entitled, "Readmissions - Does it increase with age?" Her poster won first place in the category of Research on Health Services and Public Policy at the Resident's Poster Session. Her research was a follow up to a third place finish at last year's conference in the same category for her poster entitled, "Is there an Association Between Advancing Age and Readmission Rate?"
